Every time I try a different Indian place I have regrets and get the crew together to go here. Service is fast and efficient and that is good because they are busy! Wanna know why? The food. It's all good- I've not found anything that I don't like. It's small and cramped but they do offer take out. I'd rather just eat in and have the hustle and bustle by me.

Last time our family was here was in 2019 just before the pandemic!! We all decided to go back again and but was it delicious! nothing changed, Chris was our host & server, he informed us on how to the most bang for our bucks! Our appetizers was our of this world.. full of flavor and fresh our of the fryer, eggplant , chicken wings, meat dish. we ordered the dinner combination for 4 and for 2...omg it was all so amazing! The servers kept coming around..delivering 6 different dishes .. and offering refills of our water

I've been dining here for several years now and each dish I've had has not disappointed my taste buds. The biryani dishes have a pleasurable fragrant that will wake up your senses and the taste is amazing. The samosas and stuffed cheesy naan bread are perfectly seasoned. All the curry dishes are savory and made with perfection. Entrees to try are butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, and lamb saag. Upon request, you can ask the chef to dig into their secret menu and make the 3 topping naan bread which has the butter sauce, tikka masala, spinach and chicken all with mozarella generously spread throughout. I personally like the tikka masala and mozarella topping. It's basically an Indian pizza! So yummy! The overall setting of this place is small but cozy. It gives off homely vibes and all the staff are friendly. For my most recent visit, I wanted to try their mango falooda drink. This drink is made with real mango blended up and mixed with mango ice cream, popping boba, mango jelly, chamoy, and sprinkles of tajin. This drink is the best! It was like a mango and boba jubilee celebration. I ordered one for dinner and another to go. Yes it was that good. Definitely a must try. You will not be disappointed.

Just had an incredible meal at my favorite Indian restaurant, Cafe Maharani! If you're craving authentic Indian flavors, this is the place to be. I indulged in a feast that included mutter paneer, lamb masala, pepper chicken, coconut shrimp biryani, and vegetable samosas--each dish was a culinary masterpiece! The mutter paneer was creamy and perfectly spiced, while the lamb masala was tender and rich with flavor. Cafe Maharani offers a truly delightful dining experience. The food was exceptional, with a wide array of flavors and textures to please the palate. The shrimp, chicken, and lamb kebabs, along with garlic naan bread, were particularly outstanding. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the evening. It's evident that the restaurant takes pride in its culinary offerings and ambiance, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. The staff was friendly and attentive with our party, always checked up on us to see if we needed more water and asking us what we thought of our dishes we ordered. They were very personable with myself and my buddy Jeremy alongside his 4 kids whom were with us as we ate dinner. It's been a while since we last came here to eat their food. I'm glad we found time to come back and eat here.

It's a warm restaurant so be ready for that. For the smaller space, we got a table for 4. Service was good. And we didn't realize the portions are pretty big so we thought we were being smart by getting a dinner for 3 set and added a stuffed cheese garlic naan. Portions were huge and the dinner set came with 3 naans (we opted for garlic) and rice (we chose saffron). Appetizer sampler was good, lots of different fried foods. We picked butter chicken, lamb saag and a veggie korma. Everything was tasty and especially with the stuffed naan. We had so much leftovers!

Cafe Maharani in Honolulu has the best Indian Cuisine I have ever tasted. I would not choose to eat at any other Indian restaurant because the quality of flavor created at Cafe Maharani can't be topped. I have tried many of their selections over the past months and they never disappoint. Each dish has its own unique flavor and the spices are in perfect harmony. The staff are very polite and attentive. The decor of the restaurant is stunning and there is a wonderful home-like feeling there.

2nd time at Cafe Maharani and the Husbands first time. The cafe us quaint and very inviting!! The food was delicious but I forgot to ask for it mild I did remember to ask for Vegan options!! Very filling and the portion size I thought was a little I have left overs for lunch tomorrow, YAY me!! We arrived a little after 6Pm and they were busy but could accommodate us, free street parking, didn't realize they have a parking lot in the back, good to know!!

I love trying new things here at Cafe Maharani. They are coming out with some new drinks... excited to try and taste. I always the best service and the ambiance has been taken to a new level with the table cloth on each table! Limited time Strawberry Lassi with Boba and jelly. Mango Lassi with Boba and jelly. Soon Mango Lassi with Chamoy and Tajin! Can't wait to try!!
